Will insurance cover my visits?
Many insurance companies will reimburse for office consultations if you have a health problem for which diet is recognized as part of your care (for example, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or eating disorders). Call your insurance to verify the coverage they offer for medical nutrition therapy. In some cases you may need a referral from your primary care physician and required to cover some of the services.
We are approved to accept Medicare, Medicaid, Amerigroup, Wellcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Unitied Health Care, Cigna, Aetna, and other private insurance companies in Georgia.
Policies
A minimum of 24 hours is required for cancellation or rescheduling of all appointments. For office consultations full payment is expected at time of visit. When your insurance covers the cost our services, you will be responsible for the office specialist co-pay.
